This role ensures panel health, stable data collection, high‑quality app releases, and timely issue resolution across development, backend, and business teams. The Manager will manage the CoinOut P&L at an operational level, own KPI reporting, and drive app enhancements, UX improvements, and competitive benchmarking. This position is highly collaborative, requiring strong attention to detail, technical fluency, and the ability to manage multiple partners and priorities in a fast‑moving environment.

Job Responsibilities

Product & Release Operations

  • Execute the CoinOut app release in roadmap across iOS and Android, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes in multiple countries.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for internal developers and internal backend engineering teams.
  • Attend scrum and sprint ceremonies; ensure stories, timelines, and dependencies are fully understood and tracked.
  • Conduct final QA, validate build readiness, and sign off on app releases and store deployments.
  • Identify enhancements or gaps in app functionality; collaborate with the Product Management team to submit, refine, and scope requirements.
  • Lead UX redesign and rebranding initiatives in partnership with design, branding, and product teams.

 Panel Health & Data Collection

  • Monitor panel health, lifecycle metrics, and panelist experience in each country; flag and escalate anomalies or declines in participation.
  • Oversee daily data collection performance and elevate issues impacting data quality or volume.
  • Coordinate with Engagement and Customer Support to trigger panelist communications for outages, major releases, or operational events.
  • Run monthly panel projection models to support forecasting and operational planning.

Issue Management & Cross‑Functional Coordination

  • Serve as primary escalation point for internal teams regarding app issues, data‑collection disruptions, or user‑reported problems.
  • Partner with internal technical teams to resolve data, ingestion, or system‑level issues.
  • Manage ongoing operational communication between engineering, QA, analytics, engagement, marketing, and customer support teams.

Business Management & Stakeholder Reporting

  • Manage CoinOut’s P&L at an operational level, tracking costs, variances, and efficiency opportunities for each country.
  • Ensure CoinOut incentive and monetization plans are implemented per schedule, coordinating closely with the Monetization Lead to align timing, execution, and operational readiness.
  • Produce monthly KPI reports for internal stakeholders, including app performance by country, panel activity, and data‑quality metrics.
  • Benchmark CoinOut against competitive apps; share insights and recommendations on UX, features, and market positioning.

First-Year KPI Targets

  • Panel Health: Maintain stable panel size and improve panelist retention by 5–10% in CoinOut.  Execute per Plan for country expansion.
  • Release Quality: Ensure ≥95% on time releases and reduce post release issue rate by 20% in CoinOut.  Create benchmarks in other countries.
  • Operational Efficiency: Reduce app related issue escalations by 15% through improved QA and process alignment in CoinOut.

  • Reporting Accuracy: Deliver monthly KPI reporting by country with 100% on time accuracy.
  • UX Improvement: Execute at least one major UX or rebrand update with measurable engagement lift.
  • Competitive Insights: Deliver two competitive benchmarking reports with actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of experience in mobile app project management, product operations, or digital program management.
  • Strong understanding of agile development practices and mobile app release processes.
  • Experience working with external development agencies and cross functional internal teams.
  • Comfort with technical systems, data flows, and issue triage across engineering and operations.
  • Proven ability to manage KPIs, operational reporting, and budgeting/P&L tracking.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; technical or business field preferred.

  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
