Get to Know the Opportunity:
Voya Financial is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Participant Engagement Associate to join our Participant Engagement team. This support-focused role plays a critical part in assisting Communication Consultants across our Government/TEM, Mid-Corp, and Large-Corp segments.
This role focuses on supporting the development, coordination, and delivery of initial and ongoing participant communications—including digital campaigns, education materials, and plan-specific content. While direct client interaction is minimal, the Associate is key in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of communication deliverables.
Work location for this role is FLEXIBLE – remote or hybrid from any major Voya office.
The Contributions You’ll Make:
- Provide day-to-day support to Communication Consultants for assigned client books
- Help draft, edit, and proof participant-facing materials using standardized templates and compliance-approved content
- Manage updates to communication templates with plan-specific information (e.g., emails, flyers, enrollment reminders)
- Coordinate compliance submissions and maintain version control
- Support the setup and maintenance of participant microsites and special election webpages, including:
- Posting updates
- Sending reminders
- Compiling engagement metrics and reporting
- Assist with recurring and ad hoc participant email distribution
- Contribute to quarterly reporting deck preparation and formatting
- Track deliverables and timelines in project management tools (e.g., Workfront)
- Collaborate with Communication Consultants and leadership on ad hoc projects and continuous improvement efforts
Minimum Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2–3 years of professional experience in communications, marketing, or project coordination
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or related field
- Familiarity with financial services or retirement plans is a plus
- Experience supporting remote teams and juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
