As a Vice President Control Manager within the Payments Controls team, you will support the Global Clearing team by refining governance systems, establishing risk management procedures, and advising on risk mitigation. Lead the oversight of controls, deliver executive reporting, and manage regulatory exams. This role requires outstanding communication skills, project management discipline, and a strategic risk assessment mindset.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Refine and establish governance systems to identify, quantify, manage, and monitor risk.
  • Establish risk tolerances and management procedures in consultation with business partners.
  • Advise business leads on mitigating emerging risks with products or new initiatives.
  • Lead oversight of the end-to-end system of controls to mitigate risk through engagement and analysis.
  • Deliver high-quality executive reporting and analytics to support business decisions.
  • Create and deliver executive communications, status reporting, and metrics.
  • Manage regulatory exams and audits impacting Global Clearing.
  • Chair Control Forums and attend regional and governance forums.
  • Ensure timely testing of the existing control framework.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
  • Extensive industry experience in the financial sector with deep knowledge of Payments and Clearing.
  • Ability to influence outcomes and get the best from people without direct line management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to apply quantitative approaches.
  • Solution-oriented with a proactive approach to improving business processes.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships across lines of business to achieve goals.
  • Proven ability to achieve quality results in a rapidly changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
  • Experience in change management and transformation, with the ability to influence teams.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse workgroups.
