The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for owning and managing the planning and implementation of a large scale transition effort for providing support and service delivery for regional payrolls and time & attendance programs. Viewed as a payroll specialist you will drive the planning for compliant and efficient payroll and time & attendance solutions in partnership with vendors and cross business teams across various countries in the region. You will be responsible for leading the approaches and best practices toward strategy of the services. Key to success in the role will be to ensure delivery of quality processes and strategic priorities.Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supports US and Canada Payroll and Time & Attendance and ensures quality delivery. 
  • Manages payroll queries from employees, managers and HRMs, vendors, internal & external partners, and government agencies in an expert, efficient, timely, and manner that inspires confidence in our professional services.
  • Correctly administrates pay and time processes. Manages service delivery metrics in relation to outsourced payroll and internal processes.
  • Ensures pay and time processes support SOX and operational controls, and supporting documentation is created and maintained such that internal and external audits are simple to manage.
  • Drives the management of documentation and communication of payroll programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Supports the payroll process in conjunction with third party providers including the calculation of wages, deductions, and payment of employees’ wages.
  • Ensures appropriate definition of payroll schedules, reconciliations, special processing planning, and documentation of business and local requirements.
  • Monitors for regulatory and local practice changes in labor law which may affect pay and time processes.
  • Manage pay related employee escalations with care and consideration for the employee impact, compliance with business policy and practices, and government regulations.
  • Savvy with Excel and pay and time systems, can complete and submit mass uploads of pay input for vendor processing, review pay results, manage corrective actions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college plus minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise with payroll and time & attendance systems; Workday payroll experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with time and attendance systems, ideally in manufacturing environments.

Pay and Benefits:

  • The base pay range for this position is $71,900 -107,800. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.  This posting is expected to close on July 3rd, 2025.
