Magna Marketing is a rapidly growing Digital Transformation consultancy specializing in implementations, advisory, & managed services associated with Salesforces'​ Data Cloud, AgentForce, Marketing Cloud, and Core CRM products. Having joined the Inc 5000 in 2023 and 2024, we are currently in a scaling-up phase of our looking to grow our business development team.

We focus tirelessly on helping our clients identify the areas of their business that could be positively impacted by technology, helping to save them both time and money. Additionally, we help our clients identify ways they can utilize technology to improve their customer experiences, driving loyalty, cross-sell opportunities, and ultimately revenue per customer.


The Role


The People Operations Manager is responsible for all people-related functions at Magna. This includes but is not limited to hiring, onboarding, policy implementation, performance management, and offboarding. The People Operations Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations and the Executive Leadership team.


Responsibilities

Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including:

  • Recruitment & Hiring
  • Onboarding and ordering new equipment, and training
  • Performance Management
  • Offboarding
  • Policy Implementation and Enforcement
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Run background checks
  • Manage offshore VISA and H1Bs
  • Manage 
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention
  • Oversee the performance review process
  • Manage employee relations issues, including performance improvement plans (PIPs) and terminations
  • Coordinate building the company handbook with all employee policies, company values, and expectations
  • Facilitate all onboarding steps for new resources, including ordering company technology, walking through insurance benefits, and setting up their 401k


Required Skills

  • 5-7 years of experience working in Human Resources, preferably in a professional services company
  • Extensive experience in all areas of HR, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven generalist HR and recruitment experience
  • Knowledge of HR responsibilities, systems, and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem
  • Strong organizational and planning skills

Non-Required Skills

  • Experience working with Lattice or other performance management software
  • Experience working with Greenhouse or similar HR recruiting platforms
