The Planning and Operations Senior Specialist role is part of the Marketing team within a key client and will be exposed to a variety of Marketing initiatives across the clients portfolio of brands. The Planning and Operations Senior Specialist will establish and build positive relationships. Responsibilities include managing monthly newsletters, coordination and project management of cross-functional teams, creation and maintenance of marketing documents and compiling monthly reports. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, extremely organized and experienced managing multiple projects simultaneously. This individual has an eye for detail, the ability to develop close working relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Purpose of the role
- Project and calendar management: Maintain the master marketing calendar and proactively follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all deadlines are met. Collect and consolidate relevant information and share updates with the broader Marketing team to keep everyone informed and aligned.
- Marketing asset management: Support and maintain the company's internal platform by liaising with IT and creative agencies. Manage the production and distribution of the monthly newsletter and perform regular audits to ensure asset accuracy and compliance.
- Coupon program coordination: Partner with cross-functional teams to oversee the entire coupon lifecycle, including scheduling, setup, tracking, and billing.
- Cross-portfolio document preparation: Create and update a range of marketing materials, including quarterly sell sheets, innovation packets, and market investment summaries, to support the broader marketing team.
- Performance reporting: Compile monthly usage reports for marketing assets and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve visibility and usage.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 6+ years of proven experience in a business, marketing, or project management role.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- A proactive and persistent approach to follow-ups and stakeholder management.
- Hybrid working; 3 days a week in NYC office.
