The Platform Engineer is a member of our Information Technology team and is responsible for the cloud-native infrastructure. You will have a significant opportunity for growth and engagement with cutting-edge infrastructure and security technologies. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Craft highly resilient cloud infrastructure which can be deployed in an automated and seamless process.
  • Responsible for development and implementation of platform components to support containers using Kubernetes.
  • Engineer automated monitoring solutions to ensure the availability and reliability of infrastructure.
  • Deliver high-value solutions which enable the company to deliver on its expectations.
  • Document and communicate deployment processes and configuration guidelines of infrastructure components.
  • Administration and operation of cloud-native infrastructure & applications

 Skills & Competencies:

  • Understanding of highly available, zero-downtime infrastructure including IaaS, PaaS, and containers
  • Source Control Proficiency (Git/GitHub)
  • Understanding of network routing, management & security
  • Knowledge of defense-in-depth, least-privileged & secure-by-design principles
  • Experience working on Agile/Scrum/Kanban teams.
  • Experience building solutions for monitoring, logging, security, and scalability of applications on Azure or AWS
  • Experience architecting and managing container infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a regulated environment, including adherence to standards, security and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001) such as the PCI DSS, SOX, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent documentation and organization skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Excellent problem decomposition skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in platform engineering or a related field
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure management
  • Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Proficient in automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible, with scripting experience in Python, Bash/Shell, PowerShell, and other languages like C# and T-SQL
  • CI/CD & Containerization: Solid understanding of modern DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or ECS), and experience with tools like Git, Jenkins, and Vagrant
  • Monitoring & Observability: Hands-on experience with observability and logging platforms such as Grafana, New Relic, and Azure Application Insights
