We are seeking a talented Portfolio Sales Account Manager to join Fullsteam, specializing in software and payments solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with legacy business units to enhance sales opportunities for new software clients and optimize payments processing for existing clients. The role requires a combination of sales acumen, client retention expertise, and a thorough understanding of payment platforms. The Payments Sales Account Manager will serve as a pivotal link between clients and internal stakeholders, advocating for user needs while driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with legacy business units to identify and pursue sales opportunities for SaaS clients and provide proactive account management focusing on cross-selling/upselling while piloting customer satisfaction efforts to excel in customer retention.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance attachment sales for new clients and optimize payments processing for existing clients, create awareness of all Fullsteam solution offerings (Payments, Marketing and Insurance) for cross-selling opportunities.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance on the payments platform and escalating any user concerns to the product team.
  • Create and execute tailored sales plans, leveraging sales tactics and strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Analyze data for existing payments clients, identifying which Fullsteam service solutions (Merchant Capital Advance, Network Tokens, Hardware Maintenance, Surcharge, PCI Compliance, Insurance and Marketing) to offer to better support merchant business needs.
  • Conduct rate reviews to support pricing increase planning, execution and monitoring.
  • Analyze and monitor revenue realization (rate compression, billing).
  • BvP Process Management & Optimization - Evaluate strengths and opportunities to drive process improvements that enhance customer satisfaction, attachment rates, boarded to processing metrics and abilities to cross-sell effectively.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on payment solutions to support SaaS business units and provide insights to internal teams partnering with Business Unit Sales Representatives, Product and Support Teams.
  • Be accountable for customer retention within your assigned Business Units, collaborating with Fullsteam Support teams to engage in service and solution initiatives that heighten customer satisfaction.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, particularly in the payments SaaS industry with cross-selling experience.
  • Relationship Management: Strong client relationship management and retention skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Payments Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of payments processing and SaaS technology.
  • Strategic: Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans, conduct rate reviews and problem-solve to own retention strategies for existing client base.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to work with and analyze data (customer satisfaction, pricing, billing, rate compression) to identify process management gaps and execute solutions to optimize internal processes.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Collaboration: Collaborative and team-oriented approach to working with internal stakeholders to build relationships with cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a sales role is a must. Proven experience in driving sales, KPIs, and creative client/prospect engagement focused on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Skilled in driving retention through strong focus on providing an excellent customer experience.
  • Exhibits knowledge of the payments industry staying on top of market trends with experience in conducting competitor analysis demonstrating a deep product knowledge for existing payments solutions and technologies.
  • High Proficiency in the use of Sales CRMs is a MUST.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to learn simple and complex concepts quickly to apply problem solving solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in using Salesforce.
  • Sales Management experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, finance or a related field preferred.
