About Aspora

People on the move deserve a bank that moves with them. Since 2022, Aspora has been building a borderless financial operating system that makes money as mobile and transparent as its users.

Backed by influential venture capitalists like Sequoia Capital, Greylock Partners, Hummingbird Ventures, Y Combinator & Global Founders Capital. We're a team of 75+ across India, the UK, the UAE, EU and the US, working with extreme ownership, radical candour, and an obsession with customer impact.

We celebrate builders who question assumptions, ship fast, and turn regulatory complexity into elegant solutions. If you’re driven to redefine what global banking can be, we’d love to build the future with you.

About the role

Most marketing jobs look the same. You get slotted into a lane, handed a playbook, and told to stay inside the lines.

Not here. One day you’ll be running an on-the-ground campaign that drives thousands of sign-ups. The next you’ll be coordinating a pop-up event in a major city. The day after that, you’ll be working with HQ to launch a localized outdoor campaign that stops people in their tracks.

If you want safe and comfortable, look elsewhere. If you want to work with marketing pros then look no further.

What you’ll own
  • Build killer relationships with local partners, influencers, and communities to amplify Aspora’s presence

  • Hustle speaking slots and sponsorships at major regional and industry events

  • Map out and run local community activations, pop-ups, and brand experiences that drive engagement and growth

  • Own end-to-end event execution, from intimate meet-ups to large-scale conferences

  • Collaborate with HQ to localize and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns — from paid media to referrals and grassroots tactics

Who you are
  • 2+ years in Field Marketing, PR, or Brand Activation, ideally at a fast-growing startup with a name people know

  • A creative brain that refuses to think in straight lines — you spot local opportunities others miss

  • Experience building relationships with media, partners, and event organizers, or the drive to grow them fast

  • A killer communicator who can switch from writing sharp copy to delivering a strong on-stage pitch

  • A natural hustler — happy organizing an event one day and executing a street-level activation the next

  • Comfortable with data — you pull insights that inform smarter local campaigns and measurable impact

  • Ruthlessly organized — you build strategies, roadmaps, and timelines with military precision

Why Aspora?
  • Shape the future of a global fintech platform and redefine banking for immigrants worldwide

  • Drive Aspora’s growth through high-impact field marketing and community engagement

  • Be part of an early-stage team where speed, innovation, and ownership are the norm

  • Work in a dynamic, international, and fast-paced environment that encourages innovation and growth

  • Collaborate with passionate individuals committed to building world-class products

  • Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and ESOPs aligned with Aspora’s long-term vision

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
