PR / Social Media Intern
Company: Vulcury Venture Studio
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time Internship (12 Weeks)
About Vulcury Venture Studio

Vulcury Venture Studio is a California-based venture studio that builds, incubates, and scales companies at the intersection of AI, advanced manufacturing, asset management, real estate, and education.

Our portfolio includes:

  • Trustbridge Design & Manufacturing – AI-powered supplier matching and design-for-manufacturability services

  • Calisade Asset Management – Research-first multi-asset investment platform

  • Argyle Land & Real Estate – Land acquisition, structuring, and development advisory

  • Globe – Innovative global education models

  • Additional AI-driven and consumer ventures in incubation

We build companies around structural shifts — AI-enabled production, capital allocation evolution, global mobility, and intelligent infrastructure.

This role provides exposure across all verticals.

Role Overview

This is a hybrid PR and digital communications role focused on narrative amplification.

You will help translate complex strategy, AI innovation, and cross-industry insights into:

  • Media visibility

  • Trade press placements

  • Award recognition

  • High-quality social media presence

You will work directly with leadership to help shape how Vulcury and its portfolio companies are perceived across industries.

This is not a passive content scheduling internship. It is a strategic communication apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities

1. Media Engagement & Press Strategy

  • Research and map relevant journalists, editors, and sector-specific media.

  • Draft press releases, media briefs, and targeted pitch emails.

  • Build and maintain press contact databases.

  • Track coverage and help coordinate interviews and follow-ups.

2. Trade Press & Thought Leadership

  • Identify trade publications in manufacturing, AI, investment, and real estate.

  • Support drafting and submitting contributed articles.

  • Coordinate expert commentary placements.

  • Track publication calendars and editorial deadlines.

3. Awards & Recognition

  • Monitor industry awards, rankings, and innovation lists.

  • Draft compelling award submissions highlighting company achievements.

  • Maintain an awards calendar and submission pipeline.

4. Social Media & Digital Presence

  • Create thoughtful, high-quality posts for LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and other relevant platforms.

  • Help repurpose white papers, blogs, and insights into digestible social content.

  • Assist with narrative sequencing across brands (Vulcury + portfolio companies).

  • Track performance metrics and propose improvements.

  • Support light visual content direction in collaboration with design/video teams.

What We’re Looking For
  • Exceptional writing clarity — concise, persuasive, structured.

  • Interest in media strategy, venture building, AI, and capital markets.

  • Ability to synthesize complex ideas into accessible narratives.

  • Strong research skills and intellectual curiosity.

  • Organized project management mindset.

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and basic analytics.

  • Comfort working across multiple brands simultaneously.

Bonus:

  • Experience with Substack, newsletter platforms, or media CRM tools.

  • Prior work in PR, journalism, debate, or editorial roles.

What You’ll Gain
  • Direct exposure to venture studio operations.

  • Experience building multi-brand media strategy.

  • Portfolio-level insight into AI, manufacturing, investing, and global education.

  • Mentorship from senior leadership.

  • Real, measurable output that will exist publicly under your influence.

Who Thrives Here
You are analytical but creative.
You enjoy clarity over fluff.
You think in systems and narratives.
You want to understand how media, capital, and technology intersect.

If that resonates, this role will accelerate your trajectory.
