Come join the Global Parts Pricing team as a Pricing Intelligence & Automation Analyst and grow in an exciting, fast paced environment of innovation. Work with business partners, and automate processes utilizing big data, machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies.
What You Will Do:
  • Build automation solutions through collaboration with key stakeholders, utilizing advanced analytics, ML (Machine Learning) & AI (Artificial Intelligence) as appropriate.
  • Drive expansion of the Global Parts Pricing automation portfolio
  • Provide deep expertise in dealer transaction price data and analysis. Lead data quality initiatives, drive alignment with data and business partners

What You Have:
  • Business Data Analysis: Knowledge of business data analysis; ability to collect, identify, analyze and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understand the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Process large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy. Productively balance speed and accuracy.
  • Effective Communications: Understand effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Communicates well downward, upward, and outward.
  • Business Statistics: Knowledge of the statistical tools, processes, and practices to describe business results in measurable scales; ability to use statistical tools and processes to assist in making business decisions.
  • Programming: Knowledge of concepts and capabilities of programming; ability to use tools, techniques and platforms in order to write and modify code.

What Will Set You Apart:
  • Machine Learning & AI: Knowledge of principles, technologies and algorithms of machine learning and AI; ability to develop, implement and deliver related systems, products and services.
  • 4+ years of aftermarket and/or pricing experience
  • AWS Tools: Experience with AWS cloud tools for big data. (EMR, Sagemaker, etc.)

  • Required Travel: Up to 10% domestic

Summary Pay Range:
$97,530.00 - $146,290.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
