Job Description

We are seeking a high-impact sales leader with 10+ years of experience to drive new logo acquisition and pipeline creation across the State, Local Government, Non-Profit, and Education (SLED) segment in the Americas.

This role is focused on opening doors, creating demand, and winning new business. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, brings a strong SLED network, and has a proven track record of building pipeline from scratch and closing large, complex deals.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Logo Acquisition (Primary Focus)

  • Identify, target, and win net-new SLED clients across assigned territory
  • Build and execute territory strategy focused on whitespace accounts
  • Drive full-cycle sales from prospecting to closure

2. Pipeline Creation & Prospecting

  • Generate a self-sourced pipeline through outbound efforts, networking, and industry engagement
  • Leverage existing relationships within SLED ecosystem
  • Create demand through thought leadership in AI, data, and digital transformation

3. Strategic Deal Origination & Closure

  • Shape large, complex deals ($5M+) from early-stage conversations
  • Position Nagarro's capabilities in AI, cloud, and digital engineering
  • Navigate long procurement cycles and multi-stakeholder environments

4. Partner-Led Hunting

  • Collaborate with hyperscalers (Microsoft, AWS, Google) and regional partners to co-create and close new opportunities
  • Use partner ecosystem to unlock doors and accelerate deal cycles

5. Market Presence & Influence

  • Represent Nagarro in SLED forums, conferences, and local networks
  • Build personal brand as a trusted advisor in the public sector

Qualifications

  • 10+ years enterprise sales experience
  • Proven track record of:
    • Building pipeline from zero
    • Closing $3M+ net-new deals in the first year
  • Deep relationships within SLED ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of government procurement cycles
  • Experience working with Microsoft, Salesforce, ServiceNow or similar ecosystems

Travel Requirements

  • 30–50% travel expected
  • Heavy focus on in-person meetings, industry events, and relationship building

What Success Looks Like in First 6–9 Months

  • Build a qualified pipeline of 3–5x quota coverage
  • Open doors in 5–10 target SLED accounts
  • Close 1–2 strategic new logo deals
  • Establish strong partner co-sell motion
