About Keystone AI US LLC

Keystone.AI is an enterprise software company building foundation models for manufacturing supply chains. Our Deep Enterprise AI Platform is a scientific decision engine that integrates with — not replaces — existing ERP, planning, and execution systems to drive faster, economically optimal decisions across the enterprise.
Incubated within Keystone and now operating independently, Keystone.AI helps global manufacturers reduce inventory, improve service levels, shorten planning cycles, and increase free cash flow — all by replacing manual decision loops and static heuristics with intelligent, system-driven optimization.

About the role
Keystone.AI employs the world’s best AI/ML science and technology practitioners with unparalleled experience implementing highly complex, massive-scale algorithms and models to help companies make better decisions across manufacturing, supply chain management, sales, and marketing.

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Engineer – Data Platform to lead the architecture, development, and evolution of our next-generation data infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in designing scalable and high-performance data solutions that empower analytics, AI/ML, and product development across the company. • Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with data engineers, software developers, product managers, and scientists to deliver data solutions. Mentor and guide engineering teams.
  • Integrating machine learning solutions into existing systems and processes and scaling them for real-world applications
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency of the data infrastructure. Define SLAs and lead incident response when needed.
  • Tooling and Innovation: Evaluate and integrate modern data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Snowflake, etc.) to continuously improve platform capabilities.

Basic Qualification

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
