About the RoleThe Principal FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in assisting with the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. This position requires a highly analytical individual with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, who can provide strategic insights and support to senior management.In this role, you will assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. You will conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making, while developing and maintaining financial models to enhance budgeting and forecasting processes. Preparing and delivering executive-level presentations and briefings will be a key responsibility. You will lead and mentor FP&A team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth. Collaborating with various departments, you will collect and analyze financial data, utilizing advanced Excel features such as Pivot Tables and Vlookups for efficient data analysis. Ensuring compliance with DoD, government contracting, and public auditing policies will be essential to your role. Additionally, you will perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required, supporting the company’s financial objectives and operational excellence.About You

Minimum Qualifications:- Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +10 yrs experience).
- Typically 12+ years of related experience.
- Recent experience in leading teams both formally and informally.
- Experience delivering executive-level presentations and briefings.
- Experience with management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical roles in business, program, or operations management.
- Experience in a finance-related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis.
- Experience collecting data from several sources, performing analysis, and communicating data.
- Experience with advanced features in Excel (i.e., Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc.).
- Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of DoD, government contracting, and/or public auditing policies, labor rate composition.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
- Certifications: CPA, CFA, or FP&A.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with SQL and database management for financial data analysis.
- Strong project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
Compensation:
Pay Range:
$137,555.00 - $189,158.75Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
