We believe it takes great people to create a great product. That’s why our team lives our company values, and we hire based on them, too. Since 2010, Pipedrive has been on a mission to support sales and marketing teams with easy-to-use, powerful tools that make everyday work faster and easier. Today, our cloud-based software is trusted by over 100,000 companies and used in 179 countries. We have grown from a five-person team to a truly international company of over 850+ people, representing more than 50 nationalities, with ten offices distributed across Europe and the US. In 2020, Pipedrive received a majority investment from Vista Equity Partners, a global investment firm that invests exclusively in enterprise software, data and technology-enabled businesses, making Pipedrive the fifth unicorn from Estonia.

As a Principal Marketing Analyst, you will lead the development of a high-impact analytics engine that transforms data into actionable insights to drive scalable growth. You’ll define and execute a data-first strategy that connects marketing performance with core business outcomes, enabling continuous optimization across channels and customer segments. Operating at the intersection of data science, marketing, and business strategy, you will translate complex datasets into predictive models and clear recommendations, establish robust measurement frameworks, and partner closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Data teams to maximize ROI and accelerate revenue growth. If you bring a strong track record of leveraging analytics to influence strategy, excel at turning insights into action, and thrive in a cross-functional environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Your new adventure:

  • Support marketing channel leads (e.g., Paid Search, CRM, SEO) in understanding and improving individual channel performance through deep-dive analysis and recommendations
  • Develop statistical models to guide audience segmentation and lifecycle strategy
  • Design and execute sophisticated experimentation frameworks, including incrementality testing, to validate marketing hypotheses
  • Build and maintain scalable data models using dbt and SQL to ensure a clean, reliable, and performant marketing data layer
  • Translate complex data findings into strategic narratives and automated dashboards that empower marketing teams to self-serve and to make data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Marketing Technology to influence the roadmap for the marketing data stack and ensure tracking integrity across the funnel

Does this sound like you?

  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Expertise in one core marketing domain, either Acquisition (Paid Search, Social, SEO) or Retention (CRM, Lifecycle, Churn)
  • Experience in marketing budget optimization, including attribution modeling, MMM, and incrementality testing
  • Proficiency in building models to tackle business problems, such as LTV modeling, multi-touch attribution, or predictive scoring
  • Experience with Python or R for advanced statistical analysis
  • Expertise in building insightful data visualisations to enable self-serve, with experience in Tableau or similar
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical marketing partners and senior leadership
  • Experience working within a high-growth SaaS or digital business with an understanding of unit economics (CAC, LTV, Payback)
  • Strong data modeling skills using SQL, ideally with dbt in a modern data stack
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior to mid-level analysts in a fast-paced environment

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
