The Enterprise Solutions Engineer role operates with a high level of autonomy and is expected to be self-motivated, thriving in a remote work environment. This role is on the Digital Services’ Platform Solutions team, which is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise platform solutions—including document management, content collaboration, ITSM workflows, and integrations across Brown and Caldwell’s SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms.

This role utilizes expertise in Microsoft technologies (M365 and Entra), automation, workflow, AI, enterprise application architecture, and API integration architecture. Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities to enhance platform capabilities, designing and implementing integrations, translating business requirements into technical solutions, onboarding new tools, and managing multiple enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead strategic planning, implementation, and enhancement of platform solutions to align with organizational goals.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Platform Solutions team, developing members' skills by example and support.
  • Oversee onboarding and integration of new platforms, coordinating with other Tier 4 departments.
  • Ensure platforms are maintained for SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, customer support, storage, security, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Abide by ITIL Foundations policies for incident management, change control, and service requests.
  • Collaborate with Help Desk and other teams to communicate changes, train support resources, and coordinate platform updates.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support platforms and tools, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Partner with Digital Services and business units to design next-generation platform solutions, improving efficiency through automation and AI.
  • Document and ensure security compliance for all solutions, safeguarding organizational data and systems.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects, adapt to evolving needs, and communicate complex information to internal customers.

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced expertise in SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platform implementation, administration, and maintenance
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365 and cloud platform integration
  • In-depth knowledge of data security, privacy principles, and IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms
  • Strong project management, organization, and time management skills
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities for complex technical issues
  • Expertise in process automation, workflow design, and platform administration standards
  • Proficiency in content collaboration, data governance, and document management systems
  • Operational excellence in vendor management and Help Desk collaboration
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to new technologies, and lead strategic initiatives
  • Growth mindset with a willingness to try new things, fail fast, and course-correct

Experience

  • Typically requires minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in platform solutions or related roles

  • Management and technical ownership of multiple complex enterprise platform solutions

  • Vendor management experience

  • Experience managing multiple projects and initiatives

Education

  • A degree in Information Technology or any related field or equivalent experience is required.

  • ITIL Foundation Certification required

  • Microsoft certifications (Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, etc.) and/or similar on-the-job experience required

Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.  These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A: $106,000 - $145,000

Location B: $117,000 - $160,000

Location C: $128,000 - $174,000
