Join our Power Electronics Design Engineer team designing technology leading products that really matter and be a part of a cause greater than yourself. The Controls and Avionics Solutions (CAS) business is experiencing unprecedented growth. Our two design centers in Endicott, New York and a new state of the art development center in Austin, Texas are the home for our next generation technical solutions. Engineers will develop flight and mission-critical products for more than 170 commercial and military customers. You will have the opportunity to help design and develop the next generation: Fly-By-Wire Flight Controls, Aircraft Engine Controls, Ground Vehicle Power Management Systems, Aircraft Electrification Systems, Advanced Air Mobility Systems, Autonomous Flight Systems, Flight Deck Systems, Cabin Management Systems, Weapon Control Systems, and Mission Systems for the world's most prominent commercial and military aircraft and vehicle manufacturers.
Candidates for this position can expect to work in mid-size teams that are cooperative, dependable, and supportive, working both co-located in a hybrid environment and geographically distributed.

Full-Time Salary Range: $102200 - $173700
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- Design, developing and production following of high-power electronics control and propulsion systems used in hybrid and electric aircraft, heavy-duty vehicles and vessels across the globe.
- Conduct research, design, development, and testing of information processing hardware such as computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, and electrical components.
- Design new or modify existing products, develop technical specifications for production, analyze hardware configuration and processing solutions, and test hardware conformance to specifications.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 6 or more years' experience in Hardware Design Engineering or Product Support Engineering
- Experience in power electronics related design and development, including familiarity with DC/DC Converters, motor drives, gate drivers, analog circuitry, and magnetics
- Motivated self-starter who has the ability to work effectively in team environment
- Technical writing skills: capable of creating required engineering documentation.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience in power electronics related design and development, including familiarity with DC/DC Converters, motor drives, gate drivers, analog circuitry, and magnetics
- Experience with design of DC DC converters and motor drives with power levels of up to 500kW and DC link voltages to 1000V or higher
