As a Principal Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision, strategy, and roadmap our Business Continuity Management product. You will be responsible for shaping the long-term vision, aligning cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative solutions that solve complex customer challenges. This leadership position demands a combination of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of market dynamics.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Product Leadership: 
  • Support the long-term vision and strategy for the product portfolio in alignment with company objectives. 
  • Lead strategic initiatives, including market expansion and platform innovation. 
  • Anticipate market trends and identify disruptive opportunities to maintain competitive advantage. 

  • Portfolio Management: 
  • Manage the development and execution of multiple product roadmaps across teams. 
  • Ensure portfolio alignment with organizational goals, balancing short-term gains with long-term growth. 

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: 
  • Drive alignment and collaboration across engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams. 
  • Act as the ultimate decision-maker for trade-offs, balancing business needs with customer expectations. 

  • Customer and Market Insights: 
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and industry trends. 
  • Partner with customer-facing teams to gather insights and validate product hypotheses. 

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: 
  • Establish and refine metrics to measure product performance and business impact. 
  • Use data analytics to guide decisions and continuously optimize product offerings. 

  • Executive Reporting and Influence: 
  • Present product strategies, updates, and outcomes to executive leadership and stakeholders. 
  • Influence organizational priorities by articulating the value and impact of product initiatives. 

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred). 
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a principal or equivalent leadership role. 
  • Business Continuity Management experience is a must. 
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, complex product initiatives. 
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect product strategy to business outcomes. 
  • Expertise in product management tools and methodologies, including Agile, Lean, and OKRs. 
  • Enthusiasm for leveraging emerging AI tools and techniques to accelerate product discovery, ideation, and execution. 
  • Comfort with live prototyping, exploring different model capabilities, and applying AI-driven insights to inform strategy, user research, and product decisions 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing C-level stakeholders. 
  • Deep passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering world-class customer experiences. 

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $139,000 - $198,000 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
