At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Snowflake is redefining how enterprises bring data, applications, and AI together. As autonomous workflows begin taking actions on behalf of users, identity has officially become the new security perimeter. Every single interaction—whether initiated by a human, an application, a workload, or an AI agent—must be continuously authenticated, authorized, and governed. To unlock this next generation of enterprise software, Snowflake requires an identity platform that extends far beyond traditional workforce authentication to seamlessly support machine identities, fine-grained delegation, and policy-driven access at cloud scale.

We are looking for a hands-on, high-impact Product Leader to define and build this foundational trust layer. Operating at a highly strategic intersection of product, engineering, partnerships, and executive-level customer engagement , you will own the core infrastructure that allows complex enterprise systems to securely interact, reason over sensitive data, and safely execute actions.

AS A PRINCIPAL PRODUCT MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
  • Set Portfolio Strategy: Own and define the long-term product strategy and roadmap for Snowflake’s IAM ecosystem, factoring in market-shifting competitive trends and technical evolutions.

  • Build for AI era: Architect IAM features that allow autonomous agents to securely access systems and take action.

  • Simplify IAM: Architect IAM features that simplify the admin experience and end user user experience for authentication and authorization.

  • Lead at Elite Scale: Partner closely with Distinguished and Principal Engineers, cross-functionally driving alignment across a broad technical organization roughly paired with 50+ engineers.

  • Influence Beyond Your Border: Act as a well-respected, autonomous leader across all seniority levels at Snowflake, establishing product values, setting bars for quality, and mentoring junior PMs to level up the broader craft.

  • 10+ years of technical product management experience centered in Identity and Access Management (IAM), cloud platform infrastructure, or enterprise security.

  • Hyperscale Platform Experience: A proven background operating at companies with deep cloud platform or identity expertise (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Okta).

  • Deep Familiarity with AI Ecosystems: Active experience navigating access, data governance, or identity challenges for LLM orchestration frameworks, AI platforms, or agentic workflows.

  • Mastery of 0-to-1 Deliveries: A track record of taking massive, ambiguous infrastructure initiatives from initial concept through global enterprise deployment.

  • Engineering Respect & Technical Depth: The ability to go toe-to-toe with elite technical leaders, translating intricate security concepts into clear, high-impact product architecture.

  • Strategic Foresight: Strong business acumen with the ability to foresee the short- and long-term consequences of complex platform investments and architectural trade-offs.

This is a rare opportunity to shape one of the defining product challenges of the AI era—determining what autonomous enterprise agents can know, decide, and safely execute. You will work at the exact intersection of AI and security, influencing the direction of Snowflake's core AI platform and building products that become foundational to how organizations safely adopt autonomous AI at a global scale.

Our team operates at the absolute center of Snowflake's strategic priorities, giving you direct executive visibility, massive engineering leverage, and company-wide impact. If you are energized by solving hard, unsolved problems that matter deeply to the future of enterprise software, this is the team for you.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.

How do you want to make your impact?

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
