At fabric, we're building the future of commerce with AI-powered, data products that help merchants make and save more money. We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead the development of agentic apps and bring our mission to life.
Reporting directly to our CPTO, this is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, has built and scaled multiple data products from scratch, and is passionate about taking ideas from zero-to-one with a founder mentality while influencing the long-term roadmap of Agentic Commerce at fabric.
Your Responsibilities
- Own and define the strategic product vision, roadmap, and execution plan, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Lead the development of AI-driven automation to enhance efficiency, scalability, and decision-making capabilities.
- Drive market analysis and competitive research to inform product strategy and investment decisions.
- Champion a data-driven approach to product development, using insights and customer feedback to shape roadmap priorities.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to drive go-to-market strategies and ensure product success.
- Foster a culture of innovation by mentoring and guiding product teams on best practices and emerging technologies.
What you bring to the table:
- 8-10 years product management /product engineering overall
- 5+ years of experience in Retail/ Commerce SAAS and some experience with OMS, WMS, TMS, ERP, Shopify.
- 8+ years of experience leading strategic product initiatives, influencing executive decision-making, and driving cross-functional alignment.
- Demonstrated success in AI/ML product development, working with data science teams to define and build ML powered products.
- Expertise in owning end-end product lifecycle from ideation, recruiting design partners/customers, launch, implementation, post go-live support with a track record of delivering high-impact solutions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience collaborating with Data Science, Engineering, UX, GTM, and Finance to deliver best-in-class commerce solutions.
- Bias for action, Ownership and Founder Mentality where no task is too small or big – rapid prototyping using Bolt/Cursor, Recruiting design partners, Brainstorming platform decisions with engineering.
The base salary for this role will be between USD $170K to 225K.
The annual base salary range for this full-time position reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Actual pay may vary, depending on qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity options, and company benefits (your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process). Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above.
