Clarivate is seeking a Benchmarking Senior Advisor to support the CMR International (CMR) team in driving deeper, in person dialogue with customers around our benchmarking data and advisory services. This senior, strategic role will play a critical part in shaping the evolution of our membership and advisory offerings by delivering high impact research, strategic insight, and expert consultation to customers and internal stakeholders.
About you – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant scientific or business field
10 Years of Relevant leadership experience in portfolio management, clinical operations, or benchmarking within a Top 20 Pharmaceutical company or a Top 5 global consultancy
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
A proven track record of engaging with and influencing C-suite and senior leadership stakeholders to communicate complex value propositions and drive business growth.
Demonstrated ability to translate data into high-impact industry analysis, with a portfolio of professional presentations or peer-reviewed journal articles that have shaped industry discourse.
Advanced skills in interpreting large-scale benchmarking datasets to provide nuanced strategic insights that address the most pressing challenges in life sciences R&D and operations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's or advanced degree (e.g., MSc, PhD, MBA)
A consultative mindset to navigate ambiguous and complex structures.
What will you be doing in this role?
Business Development Support: Leveraging your senior leadership network to identify and secure new business opportunities, effectively convincing leadership teams of the CMR value provided by our membership programmes.
Strategic Customer Dialogue: Leading consultations with key pharmaceutical clients to facilitate deep-dive discussions around the CMR benchmarking data and programme membership.
Evolution of Offerings: Acting as a thought partner to the CMR team to shape the future of Global R&D and Clinical programmes.
Knowledge Translation: Contributing to CMR’s external profile by generating content, including white papers, articles, and presentations, that reinforces our position as a leader within R&D benchmarking.

Hours of Work
This is a US based, part-time role at 40 percent FTE, equivalent to approximately two days per week and is ideal for a senior professional who brings deep domain expertise, strong customer presence, and a consultative mindset. The position supports in person customer engagement as part of its advisory focus.
The expected base salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 USD per year FTE. This role is eligible for (incentive or bonus) earnings. Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.
