THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Principal/Lead Developer to lead the development of scalable web applications, focusing 75% on UI (Angular) and 25% on backend (Node.js/NestJS). This role combines hands-on coding, team leadership, and system architecture to deliver high-performance, maintainable solutions. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and committed to driving impactful results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications.

  • Build Angular-based UI libraries and components with pixel-perfect precision.

  • Oversee backend development using Node.js and NestJS, ensuring seamless integration with the frontend.

  • Highly organized, innovative thinker with a commitment to excellence.

  • Ownership mindset with a drive for results and creative solutions

  • Lead and mentor a team of frontend and backend developers, fostering technical growth and collaboration.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, set timelines, and meet project objectives.

  • Proven ability to guide and inspire teams to achieve goals while encouraging creative problem-solving.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to align development efforts with business objectives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Architect solutions for complex systems, such as ad delivery networks and authentication.

  • Identify and implement improvements to workflows, code quality, and application efficiency.

  • Take ownership of critical systems and ensure they are flexible, maintainable, and efficient.

  • Proficient in Angular, TypeScript, and responsive, mobile-first web application development.

  • Skilled in Node.js, NestJS, and building high-performance APIs.

  • Familiarity with NX monorepos, OOP principles, and scalable architecture
