THE POSITION

As a Principal Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in driving the end-to-end cycle of procurement strategies and supplier management. You will be responsible for executing strategic sourcing initiatives, conducting market analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize costs and ensure supply continuity.

You will report directly to our Director of Strategic Sourcing and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ OR one of our Aero locations on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the company by ensuring the delivery of compliant sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings through effective negotiation and supplier management.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers and onboard them.
  • Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6 plus years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance.
  • Strong analytical skills and processes.
  • Experience with SAP systems or similar procurement systems.
  • Ability to independently lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Expert in data analytics tools such as Excel.
  • Experience with summarizing reporting to leadership and presentations.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or Technical discipline.
  • Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industry.

MINNESOTA PAY TRANSPARENCY 

The annual base salary range for this position is $128,000 - $160,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

CALIFORNIA PAY TRANSPARENCY 

The annual base salary range for this position is $147,000 - $184,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

WASHINGTON PAY TRANSPARENCY 

The annual base salary range for this position is $147,000 - $184,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
