As a Principal Technical Program Manager in Identity and Access Management, you will lead a portfolio of complex, multi-functional technology programs that will improve firm-wide security and experiences for multiple groups across the firm, including clients, employees, technology teams and risk and control stakeholders. The Chief Technology Office oversees enabling components inclusive of the top quality engineering and architecture tools and practices, key program management and processes as well as the technology workforce strategy required to make us a leading technology company for our customers, clients and colleagues around the world.
High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters. Users in these roles are subject to enhanced pre-hire screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks (as allowed by law). The enhanced screening will need to be successfully completed prior to commencing employment or assignment.

Job responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic technical program plans, aligning with organizational goals and cross-functional collaboration
- Oversee a portfolio of complex technology program execution, managing resources, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks
- Foster strong relationships, transparent communication, and effective decision making with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams, providing direction, facilitating problem solving, and ensuring beneficial outcomes for the firm
- Guide the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies, platforms and software tools leveraging advanced technical fluency
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology programs in large organizations
- Experience managing a portfolio of technology programs and the teams that oversee them
- Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutions
- Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives
- Proven ability to lead transformational programs, manage dependencies, and adapt to change in high-pressure, shifting environments
- Proven ability to learn new technology areas and quickly apply those learnings to effective program planning and delivery
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated success communicated across teams, stakeholders and senior leaders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Financial industry experience, including experience managing regulatory and compliance requirements like SOX, SOC and PCI, preferred
- Complex software implementation and software/infrastructure implementation experience preferred
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain knowledge and experience preferred
