This means spotting opportunities, solving ambiguities, and seeking effective solutions to the problems our customers care about.

Overview:

In this role, you will be part of a group of Technical Program Managers driving strategic initiatives across LivePerson’s Global Product and Technology Unit, with a specific focus on Cloud Migration. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing large-scale cloud migration programs that transition legacy systems, applications, and services to modern cloud-native infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum operational efficiency.

You will partner closely with engineering, infrastructure, product, and security teams to deliver complex migration roadmaps, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment with broader business goals. The ideal candidate is execution-oriented, thrives in ambiguous environments, and excels at managing large-scale transformation programs. You will need strong technical acumen, outstanding communication skills, and a passion for modernizing systems to enable scalable and efficient cloud operations.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate technical requirements into actionable programs, mitigate risks, and deliver on aggressive timelines in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

You will:

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of cloud migration initiatives, including discovery, planning, execution, validation, and post-migration optimization.
  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, and product teams to define migration scope, strategy, and timelines.
  • Define and drive a cloud migration roadmap that aligns with business priorities and architectural goals.
  • Identify and manage interdependencies, technical risks, and mitigation plans across multiple teams and platforms.
  • Develop and maintain program documentation, schedules, and communication plans to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Create visibility into program status and progress through regular reporting to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment, ensuring clear understanding of migration objectives, technical requirements, and business impact.
  • Ensure all migrations are executed with minimal impact to customers, maintaining SLAs and compliance requirements.
  • Standardize and improve migration processes, toolchains, and governance practices to increase repeatability and quality.
  • Facilitate retrospectives and continuous improvement practices post-migration to improve future efforts.
  • Support team operations in a globally distributed environment, enabling asynchronous coordination and communication.
  • Act at the overall lead for a team of program managers supporting the Cloud Migration Program.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical program or project management, with demonstrated success managing cloud or infrastructure transformation programs.
  • Proven experience leading complex cloud migration efforts (e.g., from on-prem to GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Deep understanding of cloud architectures, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Helm), security practices, and operational readiness in the cloud.
  • Experience with cost modeling, risk assessment, and dependency management for cloud projects.
  • Strong familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or other delivery frameworks used in modern DevOps environments.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to keep programs on track.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
  • A passion for operational excellence, modernization, and driving impact through technology transformation.

Benefits:

The salary range for this role will be between $160,000 to $180,000.
