We lead the industry in aligning wealth, passion, and purpose to help our clients thrive. With over $30 billion in assets under advisement, 300+ teammates nationwide, and a dynamic, team-based approach, we’re growing fast—and we’re looking for driven, curious individuals to join our #OneTeam.

Do you love working with numbers and want to use your skills to help others live richer, more fulfilling lives? Brighton Jones is looking for dynamic Summer Interns to join our team. This isn’t your typical internship - it's an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of wealth management, helping to lay the foundation to a successful career.

Just like a corporate CFO, our team provides holistic advice that spans a client’s entire balance sheet and beyond. We call it our Personal CFO approach – and our interns will see this firsthand in action.  As an intern, you’ll join a client service team, shadow seasoned professionals and contribute to real client work.  You’ll be encouraged to take on challenges, embrace feedback, and enjoy a supportive environment where growth, learning and fun are all part of the experience.

Ready to grow professionally and personally? Apply now and start your journey with Brighton Jones.

Take our Values in Action Self-Assessment to see how our values align!

Our Internship Program Offers the Following and More:

  • Gain firsthand experience in client service by sitting in on internal prep meetings, observing live client interactions, and applying what you've learned in a mock client presentation designed to simulate a real-world advisory scenario.
  • Collaborate with other interns across the country to deliver two final presentations, exploring the history of wealth management and showcasing the summer’s learnings.
  • Opportunity to work on special projects to learn and get exposure to different areas of the business (such as impact, investments, marketing, operations, tax planning, MESI, and more.)
  • Build your network by connecting with team members across the firm. Learn about their roles, career paths, and experiences at Brighton Jones to broaden your understanding of the industry and explore future possibilities.
  • Join departmental overviews to understand how each area of business collaborates with each other to fuel our business’s growth.
  • Bond with team members through exciting team outings and various committee events.
  • Get involved with various community service volunteer events with your team and entire firm, embracing our value of community.
  • Engage in career development programming designed to help you build professional skills, explore future opportunities, and prepare for life after graduation.
  • Interns who perform well may have the opportunity to receive a full-time offer to return as an Associate Advisor following graduation.

Program Details:

  • Priority consideration will be given to candidates who apply by December 1st, 2025.
  • Rising seniors are preferred.
  • Program dates are June 15th – August 13th, 2026.
  • Availability to work Monday - Friday, up to 40 hours a week, in the office.
  • This is a temporary, non-exempt/hourly position.

Skills & Attributes We Look For:

  • A commitment to excellence and a drive to maintain high standards in all tasks.
  • Versatility and flexibility with a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with a positive attitude.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, both written and verbal, to build trust and confidence with clients and colleagues.
  • A high level of personal integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, acute attention to detail, and exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Excellent work habits, featuring a self-starter mentality that proactively manages workloads and takes ownership of prioritizing tasks.
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for engaging in company culture!

Compensation:

  • Pay: $24.00 per hour with potential for college credits, if applicable.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
