Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Associate Procurement Agent(s) to join the company in Everett, Washington, including listed surrounding areas.

Exciting opportunity to join a high performing supply chain team, working inside the factory alongside the product this role will directly support. Whether you are currently working in supply chain or looking to make a change - this role will bring candidates into the complex and challenging world of demand management, program integration and supply chain analysis.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Act as the liaison and relationship owner between suppliers and Boeing.

  • Assist with performance expectations and metrics of suppliers.

  • Travel to suppliers and conduct assessments to ensure the supplier’s ongoing capability to support Boeing.

  • Assist with management of the supply and demand of parts, schedules, and supplier quality and delivery.

  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, internal and external partners, and peers; including gaining rapport and engaging positively with internal and external collaborators, even in difficult circumstances.

  • Analyze and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g. on-time delivery) and using those indicators to predict risks; assist suppliers to develop new predictive indicators as needed.

  • Conduct risk, issue, and opportunity (RIO) management.

  • Mitigate discovered risks and initiate and implement supplier recovery plans and improvement activities.

  • Assist with Root Cause/Corrective Action initiatives to improve systemic issues.

  • Support cross-functional discussions regarding technical approaches, the resolution of quality issues, and the improvement of products and processes.

  • Perform some level of system transactions and data entry to maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) fidelity, support metric generation, and maintain stakeholder communication.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

  • Experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree

  • Experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives

  • Experience with ERP systems such as ERPLN and/or SAP
