About the Role

Ontra is seeking a Procurement Analyst reporting to our Manager, Strategic Sourcing

For this job, we are currently only hiring candidates based in the United States.

We are looking for a Procurement Analyst with a mindset focused on driving operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement in our procurement processes. This role is pivotal to managing our SaaS procurement tool, overseeing purchase orders, and working to streamline procurement operations while addressing rogue spending. Success in this role requires a proactive problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments, has an eye for detail, and collaborates effectively across teams.

If you are a detail-oriented and analytical thinker with strong customer service skills, and general contract knowledge, we’d love to get to know you! Ideal candidates should possess intermediate Excel skills, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and a compliance-oriented mindset.

What You’ll Do

  • Data Review and Process Improvement: Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for process enhancements and drive efficiency.
  • Deal Management: Manage contract renewals and negotiate new deals with a compliance-oriented focus, ensuring alignment with company objectives and policies.
  • Purchase Order Administration: Administer and manage Purchase Orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies.
  • Tool Management: Maintain the SaaS procurement tool for seamless operations, user support, and accurate data tracking.
  • Compliance Reviews: Regularly assess purchase orders and invoices for accuracy and adherence to policies.
  • Collaboration: Engage with internal teams and vendors to resolve procurement discrepancies and foster positive stakeholder relationships.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: 1+ years in procurement or a related field, focusing on process improvements and stakeholder service. Experience with P2P/ERP tools is a plus.
  • Negotiation Skills: Willingness and aptitude to engage in negotiations for renewals and new deals, ensuring beneficial outcomes for the organization.
  • Stakeholder Service: Ability to effectively support internal stakeholders without imposing mandates, fostering cooperative relationships.
  • Enthusiasm for Learning: Eager to learn and derive enjoyment from managing contracts, enhancing processes, and driving efficiencies.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively seeks opportunities to streamline procurement activities, improving overall operational effectiveness.

Pay Transparency
Ontra takes individual candidate location, experience, and skills into consideration when determining compensation. The base pay range is listed below. Additionally, all positions are eligible for unit-based equity grants.

Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, such as commission or other variable compensation structures, which is not included in the below base pay range.
