The Role
The Procurement Contracts Operations Lead oversees the procurement contracts lifecycle, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and effective management of vendor contracts. This role requires expertise in procurement policies, contract negotiations, operational excellence, risk management, and continuous improvement of procurement processes. You will play a critical role within the Global Procurement Organization, closely collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Information Security, Privacy, and various regulatory teams. Your key objectives include partnering with Legal to operationalize the use of category-specific contract templates, robust contract playbooks, fallback positions, and clause-level escalation matrices to enable efficient contract management processes. You will act as the initial point of contact for commercial guidance and escalations before leveraging Legal teams. This position is integral in driving compliance, organizational efficiency, strategic procurement initiatives, and enhanced supplier partnerships.

The Role

You Will
- Support the implementation of Legal-approved contract templates, ensuring terms are favorable, clear, and compliant with legal, financial, and operational standards.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage contractual risks, embedding advanced risk management methodologies within procurement practices.
- Support the development, refinement, and maintenance of standardized contract templates and processes through stakeholder feedback and coordination with Legal, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and external regulatory requirements.
- Ensure rigorous contract compliance and effective risk mitigation throughout the contract lifecycle, and the efficient management of dispute resolution processes.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing procurement efficiency, effectiveness, and fostering innovation.
- Maintain strategic oversight and governance of procurement documentation, records, and analytics to enhance decision-making and ensure compliance.
- Shape and execute procurement strategies aligned with long-term business objectives, balancing agility with comprehensive risk management.
- Provide expert guidance and operational support to procurement teams, resolving complex commercial and operational issues.
- Support internal and external audits, SOX compliance, and due diligence processes.
- Engage in ad hoc projects to support broader organizational goals.
You Have
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in procurement operations, contract management, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record negotiating and managing complex procurement contracts, including, but not limited to, SaaS, licensing, marketing, professional services, and business process service arrangements.
- Strong expertise in procurement best practices, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in dynamic environments.
- Proficiency with procurement management systems and contract lifecycle management tools.
