Position Summary: 

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Procurement Project Manager will lead the identification, execution, and delivery of company-wide cost savings initiatives as well as other strategic and operational projects that support Winchester’s supply chain objectives. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance to translate strategic priorities into executable projects and measurable business outcomes.

In addition to execution, this role owns upward reporting and visibility of cost transformation initiatives, ensuring leadership has clear, timely insight into progress, risks, and financial outcomes. The position is highly execution-focused, with accountability for governance, delivery, and executive-level communication.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience: 5–10 years of project management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment Experience in interconnect, cable, harness, or connector manufacturing is strongly preferred
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel or Google Sheets
  • Analytical Rigor: Demonstrated success leading cost reduction initiatives with a strong ability to interpret complex data and financial impacts
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, including the ability to deliver executive-level presentations

  • Project Execution & Governance: Lead the end-to-end implementation of cost savings and strategic supply chain projects across Winchester sites. You will develop structured project plans covering scope, milestones, owners, risks, and dependencies
  • Financial & Operational Acumen: Partner with Finance to define and validate savings methodologies for cost-related initiatives, ensuring all projects deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive execution across Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and Engineering, owning the project governance cadence and monthly reviews
  • Structured Problem Solving: Identify process inefficiencies and lead redesign efforts to improve cost, efficiency, and scalability, ensuring changes are sustained and embedded into standard processes
  • Executive Communication & Upward Reporting: Prepare and deliver clear, concise reporting that translates complex project and financial data into decision-ready insights for leadership
