The Opportunity
As a Procurement Strategy and Strategic Sourcing - Value Capture Senior Associate you will analyze sourcing and procurement opportunities, develop value capture strategies, and help clients improve cost performance, supplier collaboration, and procurement effectiveness within our Operations Consulting practice. As a Senior Associate you will build meaningful client connections, manage assigned workstreams, use critical thinking to break down complex concepts, and develop your technical skills while learning how to guide and inspire junior team members. In this role at PwC, you will assess sourcing strategies, identify opportunities to reduce spend, support supplier relationship management, and contribute to digital procurement initiatives that help clients improve operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing client sourcing and procurement needs to identify value capture opportunities and cost reduction levers
- Developing strategic sourcing approaches that improve supplier performance, procurement efficiency, and supply chain resilience
- Managing workstreams for procurement strategy, contract negotiation, and supplier selection activities
- Interpreting spend, supplier, and market data to shape actionable recommendations and sourcing decisions
- Supporting contract management and contractual compliance monitoring across sourcing initiatives
- Applying procurement software and e-procurement tools to streamline processes and improve visibility
- Assessing supplier capabilities through evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management activities
- Coordinating planning, budgeting, and forecasting inputs for sourcing and procurement initiatives
- Guiding junior team members on task execution, issue resolution, and deliverable preparation
- Building client relationships by anticipating needs, adapting to changing priorities, and presenting clear insights
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Design/Multimedia, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Operations/Supply Chain, Organizational Management/Behavior, Project/Technology Management, Science
- At least one of the following: Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP), American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), Institute for Supply Management (ISM)
- Demonstrating procurement strategy skills in value capture engagements
- Applying strategic sourcing methods across complex procurement workstreams
- Interpreting supplier data to inform sourcing recommendations
- Using contract negotiation skills in client-facing delivery
- Anticipating stakeholder needs while navigating ambiguity
The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
