Role Description

We’re looking for a Content Producer to join our growing Writing Studio—a centralized team of writers who create marketing pages, event copy, keynotes, in-product messaging, blog posts, and more. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind writing projects, guiding them from brief to final delivery while keeping production running smoothly and on time. The ideal candidate is an experienced, solutions-oriented producer with a sharp eye for craft—whether it’s creative work or a project schedule. If you know how to hit deadlines while inspiring creative teams to deliver their best work, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • You lead large-scale creative initiatives from scoping to completion, delivering high-quality work on time and on budget.
  • You set clear expectations, proactively manage risks, and remove roadblocks—from project delays to team output, resourcing, and technical hurdles.
  • You know what makes a strong brief and ensure it aligns with company goals.
  • You facilitate effective collaboration across marketing, brand, and executive teams, and have experience working with senior stakeholders on creative projects.
  • You build strong relationships with finance and legal partners, and handle vendor contracts, including SOWs, POs, and invoice reconciliation.
  • You’re passionate about quality, and find efficient ways to deliver great work without compromising timelines or budgets.
  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity, can juggle multiple projects, and work independently.
  • You think strategically and keep the big picture in mind with every initiative.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of relevant experience working at an agency or an in-house creative team
  • Foster strong working relationships with team members and cross-functional partners
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and natural problem solver
  • Independent thinker and decision maker
  • You delight in solving production challenges
  • You’re ready to roll-up your sleeves when needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working specifically with writers
  • Experience working in tech

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
