About the Role

Excited to take on a founding product & content marketing role that will redefine how WeWard positions itself to the world? As a Product & Content Marketing Lead, you will be pivotal in bridging what we’re building with whom we’re building it for, by crafting powerful narratives and precise positioning. This role focuses on enhancing product adoption and audience engagement, both inside and outside the app.

Reporting directly to Yves, our CEO, and collaborating with dynamic stakeholders across Paris and New York, you will be instrumental in delivering marketing strategies that align with our mission to make WeWard the premier walking app worldwide.

Responsibilities

Showcase App Features

  • Craft and execute innovative marketing strategies that clearly communicate our product’s features and benefits, across both existing users and prospect.
  • Leverage customer insights, stay on top of market trends, and make the most of news cycles and trends to boost product adoption and succes.
  • Refine content and copy across all communication channels to create a timely and consistent narrative that attracts and retains users.

Power External Comms

  • Elevate and effectively position WeWard’s brand across multiple channels, including app stores and our website.
  • Oversee social media and press communications by managing dedicated teams to ensure cohesive and impactful messaging that resonates with our audience. 
  • Forge visibility partnerships, participate in events, and seek award opportunities to solidify our market positioning.Your mission is to propel WeWard to the top spot as the world’s favorite walking app!

You’ll need to harness out-of-the- box thinking that sets the tone for innovation and originality in our marketing efforts. Your role demands that you push the boundaries to develop persuasive narratives that not only stand out in a crowded market but also connect emotionally with users, encouraging them to engage more deeply with our app.

User empathy

Meticulously analyzing user feedback, market trends, and engagement metrics is key to inform and refine marketing strategies.
Your ability to put yourself in our users’ shoes will guide you in crafting relevant and impactful marketing materials that make users feel valued and motivated.

People nurturing

Lead and mentor a talented and gritty team of 4, including 3 in Community Management and 1 in Press/Comms

Recruitment Process

  • Initial calls with HR Manager, the CEO and two members of the executive committee
  • A case study followed by a 1-hour debrief with the CEO and two members of the executive committee
  • A meet-and-greet with two direct reports
