This role will focus on designing systems that simplify complex processes for healthcare practices of all sizes.

We are looking for candidates with experience in designing B2B SaaS solutions, ideally within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate anchors their design practice with systems and workflows in mind, approaching problems with a deep understanding of the complexities of healthcare environments. We are looking for candidates who excel in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, contributing innovative ideas to a cross-functional team to optimize healthcare operations.

All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.

Essential Functions

  • Essential Functions: In addition to working in accordance with appropriate conduct and behavioral standards, specific responsibilities of this role include:
  • Help conquer major design obstacles for innovative, enterprise-level healthcare solutions by optimizing complex user workflows into simpler ones. Demonstrate the ability to tackle intricate design challenges and set a high standard for usability and user-centric design.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners/managers, developers, and internal stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive solutions that improve our healthcare experiences.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, journey maps, process flows, interaction prototypes, and site maps to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
  • Contribute to our shared design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across all products and platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team during implementation, providing guidance and oversight to ensure that the final product aligns closely with the intended design and user experience.
  • Act as a thought leader and advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization. Engage in continuous learning and stay updated on the latest design trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate with research to gain insight into user needs, pain points, and behaviors, and incorporate these findings into thoughtful design decisions. This may include traveling to meet and talk with the practices that use our software to gain insight into how our products can thrive.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned based on business need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in a UX/UI or Product Design role (or combination thereof). Previous experience designing practice management/clinical care solutions or SaaS B2B2C products in an adjacent industry is preferred but not required.
