Position overview

As our Product Designer, you will balance designing end-to-end product experiences with maintaining design systems and assets while ensuring designs align with UX principles and platform limitations. You’ll collaborate with teams during sprint planning and critiques, focusing on user experience, accessibility, and responsive design.

This role is ideal for a well-rounded designer who is comfortable working across visual design, interaction design, and product strategy. 

Strong proficiency in Figma and pattern libraries is required, and a working proficiency in Sketch, Illustrator, and Photoshop along with strong illustration and animation skills is a plus. Experience with mobile gaming design is a plus.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Help to create and maintain mobile & web pattern libraries, components, icons, and rules within the design scope 
  • Design end-to-end product experiences, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs.
  • Design icons and other digital media as needed, this may include illustrations
  • Participate in and lead discovery activities such as user research, journey mapping, and problem definition to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and actively participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and design critiques
  • Possess a clear understanding of the technical limitations of web & mobile and communicate your ideas to engineers
  • Have a strong understanding of the user experience principles and create designs that support UX 
  • Other tasks as assigned

Skills and experience

  • 3+ years of practical UX experience experience in UX/UI or product design roles.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and HCI concepts 
  • Strong Proficiency with Figma, and basic proficiency with Sketch, Illustrator, and photoshop 
  • Experience building out a pattern library (huge plus!)
  • Solid understanding of design fundamentals, accessibility standards, and best practices for responsive and adaptive design 
  • Familiarity with product strategy, user research methods and tools, and data-driven design decisions.
  • Basic illustration and animation proficiency
  • Seamless ability to work with a team to meet milestones 
  • Proficiency in Miro and JIRA and other collaborative software tools
  • Knowledge of mobile gaming design

Compensation and benefits

We carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your experience and internal equity, when determining individual pay. The salary range for this role is $72,050 to $108,080, with an expected starting range of $72,050 to $90,065. This position is eligible for annual salary increases and bonus (dependent on company & individual performance).
