The Director of Account Management oversees account managers, ensuring client success, developing scalable processes, and driving engagement in the healthcare sector.

Healthcare quality is declining and soaring costs are crushing American families and businesses. At Garner, we’ve developed a revolutionary approach to evaluating doctor performance and a unique incentive model that's reshaping the healthcare economy to ensure everyone can afford high quality care. By providing organizations relief from surging healthcare costs, we've experienced rapid adoption in the market and have more than doubled our revenue annually over the last 5 years, becoming the fastest growing company in our space. To support our continued growth, we're expanding our team by over 50% each year, seeking exceptional talent to shape our unique, award winning culture (for example, USA Today Top Workplaces 2025) designed to cultivate teamwork, trust, autonomy, exceptional results, and individual growth that creates an inflection point in your career.

About the role:

We’re seeking a strategically-minded, user-focused Product Designer to join our Payments, Claims & Eligibility team. In this role, you’ll work across internal tools and user-facing experiences that power core parts of Garner’s product. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, operations, and research teams to design effective, scalable, and impactful tools for both our members and our internal stakeholders. This individual will report to Garner’s Head of Product Design.

This position is fully remote.

What you will do:
  • Own design projects end-to-end, from discovery and conception through to launch.
  • Design internal tools and user-facing features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve high-impact problems in payments, claims, and eligibility.
  • Lead and participate in user research efforts to bring user insights into every stage of the design process.
  • Translate complex workflows into intuitive, scalable experiences that improve efficiency for internal teams and delight our members.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape roadmaps, define problem spaces, and advocate for thoughtful design solutions.
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system and component libraries.
  • Communicate design rationale clearly and effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
What you will bring to the team:
  • 2–3+ years of experience designing digital products—ideally across internal tools and consumer-facing applications.
  • Strong product thinking and systems-level problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with end-to-end design, from ideation and research to polished UI and implementation support.
  • A clean and modern aesthetic sensibility—you design for clarity, simplicity, and delight.
  • Comfort working with component libraries, design systems, and prototyping tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills—you can synthesize feedback and advocate for users.
  • A self-starting, humble mindset—you seek out feedback, challenge assumptions, and iterate based on real-world evidence.
  • A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success
  • Experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment
  • A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Garner does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time
Compensation Transparency:

The target salary range for this position is: $135,000 - $160,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health and more.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
