As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for leading design projects from concept to implementation. Your role will focus on creating innovative, user-centric product designs that solve business challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to develop and refine design systems and deliver high-quality design outputs.

The impact you'll have: 

  • Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications to align with project goals and user expectations.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing, gathering feedback to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Utilize prototyping tools and techniques to iterate on designs and support user testing.
  • Contribute to the design process for key features and work closely with product managers and engineers.
  • Contribute to the evolution of design systems and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure all design deliverables adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency.
  • Manage assigned design tasks and projects, delivering high-quality results within established timelines.
  • Gather requirements and understand business objectives to translate into actionable design solutions.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering their growth within the team.
  • Drive rapid design ideation and prototyping by utilizing AI tools and methodologies to quickly explore user flows and high-value use cases.

What you'll bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in a UX/product design role, with a portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and outcomes.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles.
  • Experience with prototyping tools and techniques to iterate and refine designs.
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies and their impact on design implementation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field preferred.
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development in the field of product design.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on delivering user-centered design solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of taking initiative and driving projects forward independently.
  • Ability to make informed decisions and prioritize tasks based on business impact and user needs.

U.S. Pay Range
$75,000$95,000 USD

Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate, and is provided pursuant to Equal Pay Laws. SchoolStatus intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, such as experience. Our team will provide more information about the total compensation package for this position during the interview process.
