Become a senior product leader within the Arena Product Management organization, responsible for the strategy, execution, and outcomes of a defined product domain. The Product Director leads and mentors a team of Product Managers while remaining hands-on with high-impact initiatives. This role partners closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer teams to deliver customer-centric solutions that drive business value and long-term platform growth. Telecommuting permitted. This role focuses on Arena’s enterprise SaaS PLM and QMS solution.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.

· 10+ years of experience in Product Management or a closely related role, with demonstrated progression into senior leadership responsibilities.

· 3+ years of experience leading and developing Product Managers including hiring, coaching, and performance management.

· Proven experience building, managing, and scaling teams of Product Managers in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

· Has prioritizes and managed multiple simultaneous projects and initiatives in a fast-paced R&D environment.

· Successful track record in defining, delivering, and supporting software fixes, features, and solutions.

· Proficient in both in-person and remote (or hybrid) work environments.

· Experience utilizing both Agile and Waterfall development processes.

· Effective collaborator with global and diverse teams, capable of working independently.

· Demonstrated ability to own product strategy and outcomes across a portfolio of products or features.

· Experience operating as a senior product leader in complex, enterprise SaaS environments.

· Strong leadership presence with the ability to represent product strategy and tradeoffs to executive stakeholders.

· Ability to balance hands-on product execution with people leadership and organizational scaling.

· Passionate problem solver dedicated to delivering high-quality, customer-centric products and features.

· Attentive to detail when interpreting customer and stakeholder inputs, translating them into actionable feature requirements.

· Proven track record in defining software product strategies and roadmaps that drive customer satisfaction and growth.

· Skilled presenter with experience delivering technical, business, and strategic presentations to diverse audiences.

· Strong analytical skills, leveraging data and market insights to make informed product decisions.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, aligning opinions towards customer and business outcomes, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

· Previous experience with Arena or other enterprise PLM/QMS systems preferred.

· Familiarity with cloud-native product and design tools such as Confluence, Jira, Figma, etc., is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a defined product domain, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs

· Lead prioritization and tradeoff decisions across multiple product teams, balancing customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility

· Represent the product domain in cross-functional and executive forums, clearly communicating strategy, risks, and outcomes

· Continuously assess market trends, customer feedback, and competitive dynamics to inform product direction and investment decisions

· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers, providing coaching, feedback, and career guidance to support individual and team growth

· Support hiring, onboarding, and scaling of the product team as organizational needs evolve

· Establish clear ownership, operating rhythms, and standards for product discovery, delivery, and execution across the team

· Oversee and contribute to the creation of high-quality product requirements and use cases, ensuring consistency and clarity while remaining hands-on with high-impact initiatives

· Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer teams to deliver cohesive, customer-centric solutions

· Monitor key product metrics and outcomes to assess performance, guide iteration, and inform future roadmap decisions
