About Us

In today’s connected world, sharing private information is the lifeblood of any organization. However, the challenge of keeping sensitive data secure has only grown, leading to regular leaks—even within top-tier organizations. This breakdown of trust disrupts communication and causes significant harm to people and businesses.

EchoMark offers a game-changing solution: we embed invisible, forensic markings in documents, personalized for each recipient. These markings don't disrupt information flow but allow leaks to be traced back to their source. The presence of EchoMark fosters trust, accountability, and better stewardship of private information.

We believe the future of information sharing lies in individualizing private data for each recipient, ensuring it stays secure while enabling teams to work effectively.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a dynamic, energetic, and entrepreneurial Product Lead to take ownership of EchoMark’s product strategy and roadmap. This is our first product hire—working closely with the co-founding CEO, you’ll define the function from the ground up, set vision and priorities, and execute at the highest level. You’ll work closely with our founders and engineering team to build and launch great products, fast.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle—from discovery to launch to iteration and ultimately hyper-growth.
  • Develop and refine product strategy in close partnership with founders.
  • Engage extensively with customers and partners, deeply understand their needs, compile into product requirements, and prioritize based on customer, business and engineering needs.
  • Write clear detailed product specs and partner closely with engineering as an individual to start
  • Drive the 0 → 1 journey, shipping MVPs and scaling successful features.
  • Build and lead a world-class product team as we continue to grow.
  • Define KPIs and measure product success relentlessly.
  • Partner closely with the engineering leader and ultimately inspire the entire company around our product plans

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for serving our enterprise customers through exceptional product leadership
  • 8+ years of product management experience, ideally including time at both high-growth startups and larger B2B organizations.
  • Proven track record of shipping impactful, enterprise B2B SaaS products, ideally in cybersecurity
  • You’ve built and launched 0 → 1 products and know what great execution looks like.
  • Strong technical fluency, you can converse fluently with Engineering teams and can ask the right questions.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling ability paired with strong strategic thinking to serve as a key asset selling into major customers
  • Span both our GTM team and our product engineering teams to ensure specific customer needs are addressed in our real-world solutions
  • Bias for action - you’re willing to roll up your sleeves and figure things out.
  • Experience managing or mentoring other PMs is a big plus.
  • Technical background including a BS in engineering, computer science, or other related degree
  • Relentless focus on craftsmanship, quality, and results
  • Comfort in operating in an entirely new category where we are blazing the trail

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in developing AI-based products.
  • Prior experience as a Head of Product or CPO, even at a smaller org.
  • Experience in document workflows, audio and video processing, or enterprise communications

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
