About Spark Advisors

Over 20 million American seniors rely on independent Medicare brokers to navigate the healthcare system. These brokers provide support during critical life transitions — but have long lacked world-class insurance technology and services to support their own growth.

Spark was founded in 2020 to close this gap. We are a technology company innovating how the best brokers acquire, enroll, and serve their clients. With our industry-leading CRM, AI workflows, and client services, brokers can finally build the business of their dreams — and help more Americans find quality healthcare. With over 8,000 brokers serving 225,000 beneficiaries, Spark is the fastest-growing Medicare brokerage in the country.

We’re now looking for new builders and operators to accelerate our impact. Our talent-dense team combines experience from top technology and healthcare companies like Square, Ramp, Yext, Oscar, Cedar, and Galileo. Backed by top-tier investors, including Primary Ventures and Viewpoint Ventures, we’re united by a mission to build technology that solves societal needs.

Well-being is a big part of our work — and it applies to our employees too. We offer generous benefits like flexible work locations, sabbaticals for tenured employees, annual company retreats, and monthly socials to keep our team connected and performing at their best. We’re proud that last year, we were named one of Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces of 2025.

Join us if you’re excited to redefine an industry and shape what the next era of insurance should look like.

Summary

Spark is transforming how Medicare agencies operate and this role sits at the heart of that transformation. You’ll lead the product vision for automating the manual, error-prone workflows that currently power agent payments, data reconciliation, agent onboarding, and compliance reporting. This is one of the most technically and operationally complex areas at Spark: hundreds of edge cases, fragmented data sources, and high-stakes financial flows that must “just work”. If that sounds like an exciting problem to unknot, you might just be who we are looking for.

As Product Lead, you’ll bring clarity to complexity. You’ll define the architecture of how data moves through our systems, design new automation layers, and build the foundation that lets every Spark broker get paid faster, with less effort and fewer errors.

You’ll balance strategy and execution: setting a long-term roadmap while also diving deep into messy real-world details, writing specs, and collaborating closely with engineering and ops to ship impactful improvements every sprint.

What you'll do
  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Spark’s internal systems that manage broker payments, data flows, and operational automation.
  • Simplify complexity. Build a clear understanding of our end-to-end workflows — how data moves, where it breaks, and how to make it resilient.
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Ops, Data, Finance, and Compliance to align on priorities and design scalable systems.
  • Drive measurable outcomes, such as reducing manual touches, accelerating payment cycles, and improving data accuracy.
  • Write crisp specs for high-leverage features: from ETL improvements to new automation tools.
  • Shape the product culture by mentoring other PMs, evolving our processes, and helping scale Product at Spark.
  • Operate hands-on, reviewing data models, digging into dashboards, and validating complex workflows yourself.
What we're looking for
  • Extensive experience managing the development of web-based products
  • Prior experience developing internal facing tools a strong plus
  • Deep sense of accountability over identifying core problems and translating them to clear business objectives
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience managing senior internal stakeholders
  • Analytical approach to feature development and prioritization
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments
  • Experience with SQL or other analytical tools
  • Prior experience building products and services in a healthcare or insurtech environment a plus

Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity. What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
