We are looking for a passionate Product Manager who wants to be a part of defining the future of Data 360 with its foundational capabilities. The right candidate will have in-depth experience building Data Management, AI/GenAI, BI & analytics platform capabilities using metadata, configuration based extensibility, data model, data processing and integration layers to unify data at scale from disparate data sources with use of connectors. APIs and data federation. Experience with big data technologies or applications in CRM or marketing domain built for high scale and performance is a big plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop a comprehensive and forward-thinking product strategy and roadmap for Data 360, deeply guided by understanding of meta data driven platforms and industry best practices.

    • Defining the product capabilities for data ingestion, data security, data governance, data modeling & data analytics with metadata and API based extensibility for Data 360

    • Deliver the administration and setup experience to connect, unify and govern data in Data 360.

    • Work with other Salesforce Cloud products to light up end to end use cases based on data and analytics integrations.

    • Collaborating with Salesforce Platform R&D teams to drive necessary platform requirements and dependencies.

    • Deliver resources to support adoption through various channels, training, trailhead, blogs, open source and internal proof of concepts.

    • Collaborate across multiple teams internally. These services have a high number of internal stakeholders with conflicting needs and require strong product leadership to ensure alignment, consistent design principles, and adoption from other teams.

    • Balance product vision & roadmap with partner and customer feedback, competitive analysis, prioritizing across a diverse set of inputs and constituents.

    • Engage with our partner and customer communities to deliver feature and product enablement, drive customer success and product adoption.

    • Highly Data Driven, experienced with estimations, drive metrics and KPI for adoption, growth etc.

    • Experienced in CTS analysis, Pricing and Packaging.

    • Work closely with key customers to envision, plan and execute along with assigned architecture and consulting resources.

QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience in building products and solutions for Data Management, Data and Analytics Platform technologies, and integrations,

    • Demonstrated success in conceptualizing and launching platform products, ideally within the Salesforce ecosystem

    • Experience with Salesforce Platform is a big plus, including metadata driven development, extensibility, packaging, UI, APIs and access control

    • BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines or equivalent experience in technical leadership roles.

    • Minimum of 10 years’ combined experience in engineering or product management with expertise in SaaS or PaaS environments.

    • Proven ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute against a plan.

    • Well-developed leadership, management, and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to excite and lead others.

    • Excellent organization and communications skills, with experience communicating across groups with varying degrees of technical background.

    • Experience presenting to executive leadership, participating in the sales cycle, and handling sensitive customer escalations.

    • Experience with big data technologies, analytic platforms and AI/ML frameworks

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $197,300 - $313,700 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $237,700 - $344,700 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
