Job Description

The Insurance Product Analyst supports the execution of state-level product strategies for Auto and Home insurance in the Independent Agency channel. This role works closely with State Product Managers to analyze business performance, support rate changes and regulatory filings, and contribute to team process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing marketplace dynamics, competitive positioning, and key business performance metrics to support the development of local product and pricing strategies.

• Use internal and external data sources to conduct research and perform analysis that informs product, pricing, and underwriting decisions.

• Apply SQL, Excel, Power BI, and other tools for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

• Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise manner to support decision-making by product managers and other stakeholders.

• Develop business requirements for rate changes and other discretionary or compliance-driven projects, and support the pricing, rule, rate, and underwriting filing process in collaboration with product, actuarial and regulatory teams.

• Support the execution of product and pricing initiatives by tracking timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Understand relevant regulatory and compliance requirements and assist in ensuring strategies and initiatives adhere to applicable standards.

• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture by sharing knowledge, supporting peers, and contributing to shared goals and deliverables.

Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $61,000.00 - 106,210.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
