About Monte Carlo

As businesses increasingly rely on data + AI for competitive advantage, reliability has become a non-negotiable. Named a CBInsights AI100 company and described by Forbes as the "New Relic for data", Monte Carlo supports some of the world's most prestigious companies, including Fox, Roche, Honeywell, and CreditKarma to deliver trustworthy data + AI at scale.

Backed by Accel, Redpoint Ventures, Notable Capital, ICONIQ Growth, and Salesforce Ventures, Monte Carlo is powering the future of reliable data + AI.

About the Team

The Product Management team at Monte Carlo plays a critical role in guiding our products' overall lifecycle - development, adoption, and enhancements. Our primary focus is understanding customers' needs and pain points and aligning the product to address these in intuitive workflows.

You should join our team if the following resonates with you!

  • Making our customers extremely happy is our top priority at MC, starting with the product. We serve hundreds of enterprises, allowing us to use meaningful quantitative data as well as personal relationships with users to inform our product work.

  • We are building a Data+AI Observability product for technical users. Our solution helps data engineers, analysts, scientists, and data governance managers make their data+AI products reliable and trustworthy. We are the creators and leaders of a new category, meaning building our product is HARD and requires creativity. We need to listen to customers and innovate on their behalf to come up with unique approaches.

  • Owning impact end-to-end: Our product managers own goals around adoption. Shipping products is not enough, and we make sure we drive significant adoption and impact for customers. We collaborate with marketing, sales, customer success, and our users to accomplish that.

  • We are growing quickly: Monte Carlo is growing rapidly in terms of customers, revenue, and headcount. We enjoy the challenges and adventures that come with high-growth environments.

About the Role
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to define and deliver product capabilities that help customers triage alerts and measure data and AI observability initiatives.

  • Work with customers to understand how they operate their data and AI systems - and translate their pain points into product improvements.

  • Use product analytics and customer feedback to prioritize and iterate on what drives impact.

  • Measure your impact by user engagement with alerts and reporting, and how effectively we help them triage and resolve issues.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of product management experience.

  • Experience working on technical SaaS products or a strong interest in data/AI infrastructure.

About you
  • Care deeply about your work and the outcomes you drive for customers.

  • A bias toward action - you make decisions quickly, iterate, and value progress over perfection.

  • Ability to excel in ambiguity and drive projects forward.

  • Curiosity and a learning mindset - you’re excited to work with senior PMs and engineers to grow your product craft.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; you value working across disciplines and functions.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
