What you’ll be part of

Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.

The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.

About the role:

We are seeking an exceptional Product Manager to join our Data Ecosystem team. This role will report to the Product Lead for Data Ecosystem. This team owns the infrastructure and data that powers Garner’s transformative approach to delivering high-quality and affordable care. In this role, you’ll be given wide-ranging responsibility to shape how Garner ingests and governs the data that powers our business and how we ensure quality and security from the start.

Where you will work:

This role will be based in our New York City office (in the Financial District). You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

What you will do:
  • Develop the roadmap for ingesting and processing client data, shaping our strategy and developing scalable and consistent approaches that ensure quality and speed
  • Own the experience for connecting to client data and making it available to internal consumers to process member payments efficiently and report results to clients
  • Embed deeply with internal teams, employers, and integration partners to understand their pain points and develop product ideas
  • Drive new product and feature development from ideation to launch
  • Develop prototypes and build and ship minor features end to end
  • Define success metrics for every initiative, ensuring we have the data in place to measure outcomes and rallying the team around what winning looks like and how we get there
The ideal candidate has:
  • 2–4 years of product management experience, ideally on data platforms, integrations, or infrastructure products
  • Experience with data ingestion and file-based data exchange (e.g., claims, eligibility, or payments data) and partnering closely with data engineering teams
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on using data to define success metrics, drive decisions, and measure outcomes
  • Technical fluency — comfort working with data pipelines, writing basic SQL, building prototypes, and shipping minor features end-to-end
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with comfort working across technical and non-technical teams and external integration partners
  • A high level of autonomy and ownership — able to move quickly and independently in ambiguous problem spaces
  • 1 year of working in an AI-forward development environment
  • A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.

Please note: we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Compensation Transparency:

The target salary range for this position is $143,000 - $170,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health and more.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
