Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential — and people too. With a culture that’s all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology — and careers — to the next level.

Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud is the unified platform and connected ecosystem of organizations building, using, and sharing data, apps, and AI. At the foundation of this platform is metadata. Accurate, performant, and accessible metadata is essential for customers to understand their data, operate at scale, and build reliable analytics and AI workloads.

As Snowflake supports increasingly large, complex, and AI driven data environments, our metadata platform must evolve to deliver better performance, richer context, and clearer observability across the entire platform. Metadata is a critical enabler for governance, cost management, performance optimization, and AI driven insights.

We are seeking a Product Manager to help drive execution across Snowflake’s metadata platform roadmap. This role is ideal for an early career PM who wants to work on foundational data platform capabilities, learn how large scale systems expose and manage metadata, and develop strong product instincts through close partnership with senior PMs, architects, and engineering leaders.

In This Role, You Will
  • Own end to end delivery of specific metadata platform features, from problem definition through launch and iteration

  • Execute on the metadata roadmap, including improvements to metadata performance, accuracy, usability, and customer facing observability

  • Use data, metrics, and AI assisted analysis to identify metadata gaps, prioritize work, and measure impact across the platform

  • Partner closely with engineering teams to translate customer, business, and platform needs into clear product requirements and execution plans

  • Develop product judgment around scale, performance, and usability tradeoffs in large distributed systems

  • Coordinate with adjacent teams across storage, compute, security, and governance to ensure metadata capabilities are consistent and integrated

  • Participate in customer conversations and feedback loops to understand metadata pain points in large scale data and AI workloads

  • Leverage modern AI and analytics tools to accelerate product discovery, documentation, and decision making

Our Ideal Candidate Has
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a top tier undergraduate program

  • Early career experience as an Associate Product Manager or a background in investment banking or top tier management consulting

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with comfort using data to inform product decisions

  • Interest in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and platforms that power enterprise AI and data workloads

  • Comfort using AI tools to improve productivity, insight generation, and execution.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A growth mindset and eagerness to learn from senior PMs and engineers

Why Join This Team?

This role offers a rare opportunity to work on core metadata infrastructure that underpins analytics, governance, cost visibility, and AI workloads at the world’s largest enterprises early in your product career. You will gain hands on experience building metadata systems at scale, develop fluency in using data and AI as core product management tools, and be mentored by senior product and engineering leaders shaping Snowflake’s platform.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
