About Us

We're a high-energy, impact-driven team, with a long track record of academic excellence. Our team includes researchers whose work has shaped the field—earning best paper awards at top AI conferences and even ranking among the most cited scientists in history of science. We've built fundamental, transformative research that has redefined the community, and now, we're here to change the world—one breakthrough at a time.

What We're Looking For & Why Join Us

We’re looking for a Product Manager / Product Designer who thrives in early-stage environments and loves shaping something from zero-to-one. You'll be the connective tissue between our users, engineers, and researchers—guiding development toward powerful, usable AI products. This is your opportunity to help define how people interact with the next generation of intelligence.

What is this role?

As a Product Manager / Designer, you’ll lead the discovery, definition, design, and delivery of features that make our AI tools useful, intuitive, and sticky. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and research to prioritize the right problems, prototype quickly, and ship confidently. You’ll listen deeply to users, synthesize insights, and help drive a product roadmap that balances ambition with execution.

What do we expect?

Must have:

  • 5–12 years experience

  • Worked at early stages of successful product companies (e.g. Figma, Notion, Airbnb, Canva, Instagram, Vercel)

  • Experience prioritizing and shipping features that drive activation, retention, or engagement

  • Strong UX design sensibility with a track record of shaping elegant, intuitive experiences

  • Ability to understand technical constraints and collaborate effectively with engineering and research

  • Comfort working in ambiguity and using first-principles thinking to define goals and product direction

  • Skill in translating user needs and system realities into clear, practical MVPs

  • Strong written and verbal communication, especially when reasoning through product decisions

  • A track record of moving quickly with prototypes, experiments, and iterative learning

Nice to have:

  • AI/ML product experience: features involving models, training data, prompting, or agents

  • Background in CS, data, or machine learning

  • Experience with developer tools, agent-based systems, or infrastructure that supports AI applications

Compensation & Benefits

$100K – $300K + Equity

We offer health benefits, a 401(k) plan, and meaningful equity—because we believe top talent should be supported, secure, and fully invested in the future we’re building together.

Location: Our company is in-office at our Seattle HQ. For this role, we are open to remote candidates with Bay Area experience, regardless of current location.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
