You will play a pivotal part in shaping some of our most visible and impactful Advocacy offerings, including our Premier and Elite packages, while also supporting the Special Needs Initiative. These programs sit at the heart of how we deliver meaningful, day-to-day value to UHC members, and your work will directly influence how effectively we advocate for and support them across their healthcare journeys.
This Product Manager role is critical to the design, build, and ongoing management of Advocacy programs that serve both members and the Advocates who support them every day. Blending product development and product management, you will own work from early-stage ideation and solution design through launch, optimization, and full lifecycle management.
While close partnership with Advocacy Operations is essential, you will also collaborate extensively with IT, Marketing, Finance, Sales, and other cross-functional teams. Together, you will shape product vision and priorities that enhance member experience, strengthen market differentiation, and deliver clear client value. This role translates insights from clients, members, and internal stakeholders into actionable product direction that enables effective execution and measurable outcomes.
Operating in a highly matrixed environment, you will balance strategy and execution while navigating ambiguity and competing priorities. Success in this role requires strong collaboration, influence, and clear communication, using compelling storytelling to align stakeholders, drive decisions, and accelerate delivery.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

- Define and execute product vision and roadmap to improve member experience and differentiate Advocacy offerings in the market

- Translate insights and data into clear product requirements and strategic recommendations
- Manage competing priorities, risks, and dependencies while driving execution through ambiguity

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in product/program development, product/program management, and/or product/program implementation within a matrix organization
- Experience translating business, member, or operational needs into clear product requirements or deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working with health plans
- Product Development and Product Lifecycle experience
