As the leader in Hybrid IT solutions, Lightedge is seeking a highly motivated Software Product Manager to drive the evolution of our customer-facing portal and tools, directly impacting customer satisfaction and business growth. This role bridges the gap between software development and our managed services offerings, collaborating closely with both engineering and customer-facing teams to deliver innovative solutions tailored to the MSP environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering successful software products, a passion for understanding customer needs, and a strategic mindset.
Responsibilities
- Identify and Analyze Customer Needs: Conduct market research and analyze customer data to identify unmet needs and opportunities for product innovation.
- Product Vision & Strategy: Define and articulate a compelling product vision, roadmap, and strategy aligned with Lightedge’s overall business goals.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Define, prioritize, and manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering through launch, iteration, and end-of-life.
- Requirements Definition: Translate customer needs and market requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with software engineering, operations, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Go-to-Market Support: Support the launch of new features and products, including documentation, training materials, and internal enablement.
- Client Escalation: Act as a client escalation point for issues found with the portal.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to executives, engineering, sales, marketing, and customers.
Attributes and Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Solutions Engineering/Architecture. Bonus for experience in the MSP or ITSM space.
- An understanding of standard software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Provide user experience (UX) guidance to the software development teams.
- The ability to analyze a customer’s needs and turn them into product requirements and use cases.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills for a wide range of audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ideal candidates will be equally analytical and creative and able to justify decisions to various stakeholders.
- Self-starter possessing the ability to research issues, independently deliver consistent quality work and feedback, and improve processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and adjust to shifting priorities as they arise.
- Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
