By making transportation more accessible, affordable, and sustainable, we empower communities to thrive and unlock economic and social prosperity.

Our mission is to revolutionize transit with a solution that delivers high capacity, exceptional user experiences, unmatched affordability, and minimal environmental impact.

The Glydways system is a groundbreaking network of carbon-neutral, interconnected transit pathways powered by standardized autonomous vehicles on dedicated roadways. Operating 24/7 with on-demand access, it offers personalized and efficient mobility—without the burden of heavy upfront infrastructure costs or ongoing taxpayer subsidies.

With Glydways, we’re building more than a transportation system; we’re creating a future where everyone, everywhere, has the freedom to move.

Meet the team:

As a Product Manager in Product Solutions for Glydways, and as part of the Solution Design Team, you will be at the forefront of designing and defining the systems that will drive the next generation of urban mobility. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of world-class engineers, designers, planners, and project managers working together to create transit solutions that exceed the expectations of our diverse global customer base.

The Solution Design Team is a critical part of our commercial scaling and project development efforts, as no system is one-size-fits-all. The team is ultimately built around customer success and the competitive application of the Glydways product toward securing contracts. A critical first step is the evaluation of the business opportunity, project risks, and product fit. This results in a flexible team that understands the Glydways product holistically, its strengths and weaknesses, and has the discipline to bring them to the forefront for evaluation, approval, proposal generation, product development education, and ultimately, commercial success.

Product Solutions goals are to: Facilitate market adoption through compelling, deliverable proposals, develop and deploy tools to scale initial project proposals, and generate input to product specification based on the voice of current and new customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Championing of key market insights and the voice of the customer and product commercial representation.
  • Ownership of the process and documentation to facilitate:
    • Creation of product assets that combine both product rich information into easily consumed documentation
    • That customer and market inputs have been identified, resolved into key project requirements, conduct research, and seek conceptual alignment with the product team.
    • Version control and prioritized feature development of scaling tools such as the Glydways system simulator, ridership projections, system calculators.
    • Consolidation of product deviations/ variants into strategic initiatives based on project value to feed future product roadmap
  • Work, and grow, with the team to ensure insights are incorporated into proposals and support the “tip of the spear” on feature goal setting and market adoption.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5+ years in product management experience in hardware and software product delivery
  • Ability to envision use cases for a mass transit system and translate those use cases into concepts for further development.
  • Experience working on vehicle, autonomous systems, or other public transportation network systems
  • Strong analytical skills, and ability to breakdown the impact of a new feature for estimated return on investment and the associated risks and benefits.
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to interface with a variety of stakeholders including highly technical evaluators and entities with limited experience with autonomous transportation solutions
  • Experience simplifying complex concepts into easy to understand summaries
  • Experience in the transit space is a plus

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
