Build at Auger
Auger is the autonomous operating system for supply chains. It connects enterprise supply chain systems—ERP, WMS, TMS—into a single data layer, then uses AI to detect problems, evaluate trade-offs, and execute decisions automatically. The platform eliminates the coordination tax: the time and capital lost when disconnected systems force humans to become the integration layer between planning and execution. Actions that previously required days of meetings and manual coordination happen in seconds, within constraints the customer defines.

Founded by Dave Clark and backed by $100M from Oak HC/FT. Headquartered in Bellevue, Washington.
About the Role

On the Product Management team, you’ll bridge the gap between the complex realities of global supply chain operations and our product development teams. Your mission is to ensure we build tools that supply chain professionals actually adopt, trust, and rely on to run their businesses. You’ll use your hands-on experience running or supporting complex supply chains to shape the product vision, guide prioritization, and validate solutions that solve real operational pain. You’re the connective tissue between our customers’ operational challenges and our engineers’ technical creativity — ensuring everything we ship is usable, credible, and grounded in reality.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate reality into product requirements: Solve real-world supply chain operations problems by leading the design of AI-powered tools.
  • Champion usability and adoption: Bring the operator’s perspective into every stage of the product lifecycle — from concept reviews to release testing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with engineering, design, and data science to ensure our solutions balance technical feasibility with operational practicality.
  • Validate and iterate: Use your industry expertise to stress-test prototypes, identify edge cases, and refine features for real-world impact.
  • Inform the roadmap: Distill learnings from customer engagements into actionable insights that shape near-term priorities and long-term strategy.
  • Maintain product integrity: Raise concerns early when proposed features don’t align with customer needs, ensuring we invest our time wisely.
  • Measure impact: Define and track success metrics that reflect business outcomes in real dollars.
  • Elevate the operator’s voice: Lead internal briefings and design sessions that ensure the voice of the user stays at the center of every product decision.

Who you are

  • You’ve run or supported complex supply chains through digital transformations — and understand the realities of enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, OMS, etc.).
  • You bring strong product instincts and can balance user empathy, technical depth, and business judgment.
  • You’ve likely been in rooms where tech overpromised and underdelivered — and you bring a healthy skepticism that helps us build trustworthy products.
  • You know how to build credibility with operators, translating between their language and that of software teams.
  • You think in systems and workflows, not just features — connecting the dots across people, processes, and data.
  • You’re motivated by impact, not just output — and measure success by what customers actually adopt and rely on.

Compensation & Benefits

As part of our commitment to People Powered Greatness, we invest in our team members with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits to support your health, financial future, and daily life. The package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and commuter benefits. Total compensation may include a combination of a competitive base salary and equity. Your initial placement within our salary range will be based on your experience, qualifications.

The base pay range for this role is $180,000 – $250,000 per year.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
